🏆 The Annual Leroy Award ~ Congratulations Dr. Melanie
While many recipients have been part of our clinic family for many years,sometimes a person makes such an immediate impact that their contribution is impossible to overlook. This year ’s Narre Warren Clinic Leroy Award goes to Mell.
Although Mel only joined us earlier this year, it quickly became clear just how special she is. From the very beginning, both clinics were asking to have her on their shifts — a sure sign of the positive impact she was having on our team from day one.
And it wasn’t just her colleagues who noticed. Our clients have taken to Mel instantly, requesting to see her when they visit and consistently providing positive feedback about their experiences with her. Her calm, collected approach puts both clients and patients at ease, and she is someone who naturally goes above and beyond in everything she does.
Mel’s kind and thoughtful nature makes her an absolute pleasure to work with. She has fit into our team with remarkable ease, and her presence has already made a meaningful difference to both the team and clients alike.

🏆 Annual Excellence in Nursing Award
This year ’s NWVC Nursing Award recognises not only exceptional nursing skills, but also generosity, leadership, and a true commitment to supporting the wider team and is proudly awarded to Nurse Min.
Historically rostered at our Berwick clinic, Min kindly stepped in to lend a helping hand at Narre to ensure our nursing roster was supported. She stepped outside her comfort zone and embraced the opportunity to work with new teammates, clients, and patients — and has done so with enthusiasm.
Min has generously shared her wisdom and experience with the Narre Warren crew, putting significant effort into helping update protocols and procedures, mentoring younger vets and nurses, and supporting the clinic as it continues to grow ~ all of which has made a meaningful difference.
Min has been a real asset to the Narre clinic, where the team have loved having her for a few shifts each week. Min’s contribution is a wonderful example of both clinics working together as one big team, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she brings to both clinics.
