Important Notice re: COVID-19

For all new and existing clients of Narre Warren Veterinary Clinic

What do stage 4 restrictions mean for your pet’s veterinary care?

  • Veterinary care has been deemed an ESSENTIAL SERVICE. We will remain OPEN during this time.
  • For veterinary care or supplies clients MAY travel further than 5kms from their home.
  • Seeking veterinary care is considered ‘health and care’ and is therefore EXEMPT from the curfew hours

During the COVID lockdown, we will not be able to take clients into the clinic at this time.

Following recent announcements by the Victorian Government we will be implementing some additional procedures to keep our clients and team safe over the coming weeks of stage 4 restrictions.

All clients are asked to continue phoning us from the car park upon arrival. Please remain in your car while a Nurse takes a history over the phone. Please advise our team if you are unwell or have been in contact with someone who has tested COVID positive.

If you require medications or food for your pet, please phone the clinic ahead of time so we can have this ready for you upon arrival.

One of our friendly Nurses will come and collect your pet from the carpark and bring them into the clinic for examination. We ask that all clients remain in the car during this time.

Once our veterinary team have examined your pet, the Vet will phone you to discuss their findings and/or the proposed treatment plan.

A Nurse will return your pet to the car, along with any required medications, foods etc. All accounts can be easily paid for using one of our portable eftpos machines.

We understand that these procedures are quite out of the ordinary. Our team are working very hard to make sure your experience with us during COVID is a positive one.
