Meet the passionate and friendly people that make up our team. From the moment you walk in the door, you and your pet will be warmly welcomed and treated with the utmost care for the entire duration of your visit. Our highly trained and educated staff are also happy to help with any queries, and provide sound advice to ensure your loved ones remain happy and healthy.

Jon Boot BVSc Veterinarian
Jon graduated from the University of Sydney in 1989. He first worked in a dairy practice in South Gippsland before moving to small animal practice in Melbourne. He was a partner in a large suburban practice for 8 years and was Practitioner in Residence at the University of Melbourne in 2012. Jon enjoys surgery and medical diagnosis and has a keen interest in helping people understand the needs of their pets. Jon shares his home with his wife, three children and a menagerie of pets including; Obi the Jack Russell, Rosie the Pug, G.T. the attack cat, guinea pig, horse, a miniature pony and numerous chickens. When not at work he enjoys travel, playing music with his band and spending time with his family and pets.
Lucy Young BVSc Veterinarian
Lucy graduated from Melbourne University in 2011 and worked in a small animal practice on the central coast, in NSW before starting with us in 2013. Lucy has a keen interest in internal medicine and enjoys providing the best possible care for her patients. In her spare time Lucy enjoys doing yoga, crochet, cooking and occasionally riding her horse Pumpkin.

Kelsey Veterinary Nurse
Kelsey has nursing in her blood, her mother & aunty are all nurses, with her passion for animals it only makes sense that Kelsey is a veterinary nurse. Kelsey lives rurally which means she has quite a variety of animals: Max the Golden Retriever, Harvie the Cavalier King Charles, Custard the ginger cat, Sunny the Goat & Paris the Thoroughbred. In her spare time Kelsey enjoys 4 wheel driving, camping, scrapbooking & competing in both dressage & showjumping with her horse.
Tia Veterinary Nurse
Tia has been dedicated member of our nursing team since moving here from Queensland in 2014. Her love and passion for animal care has led her to undertake a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Tia has many pets of her own including her dog Angel the Anatolian Shepherd, and her two cats, Belle the Domestic Longhair (pictured above) and Nina the Russian Blue. She also has 4 budgies, 3 rabbits and a turtle to round out her furry friends that she enjoys coming home to and spending time with.
Melissa Veterinary Nurse
Melissa joined us in 2008 and has just about every pet you can think of, from lizards to horses! She has a soft spot for kittens & over the years has raised many kittens that were all under one week old when they came to the clinic. In her spare time Melissa enjoys spending time with the family & friends, she also loves horse riding, especially competing in dressage competitions. Melissa is currently studying her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
